Adolescent girls and women in Tanzania are turning away from HIV prevention and treatment programs. According to research, HIV is not a priority among the group causing the low uptake of health services such as HIV testing or contraceptives. Negative uptake of health services is contributed by stigma, gender discrimination, non-friendly services, and more insufficient lack of correct and sufficient knowledge about HIV risk.

To tackle emerging challenges, TAYOA, in collaboration with MoHCDGEC through The National Aids Control Program (NACP), conducted an online dialogue to discuss and address challenges contributing to increasing HIV/AIDS infection among the youth in Tanzania.

The organizations included the National Aids Control Program NACP, UMATI, TCRA , TACAIDS, and TAYOA
